Progress

It has been a while since I posted anything because my kids came home and work on this project had to stop until the evenings. Last night I got a really good chunk of things done and I like how most of it turned out. I am also having fun coming up with different ways to make sure I can incorporate all the pictures I had printed.

This is the inside of the front cover, it is collaged with pictures from the Kansas City Zoo.

Because I had a lot of pictures from the zoo I decided to make an accordion fold to put some of the pictures on so that I don't run out of room. I had to make this into double sided paper by cutting a 12 x 12 sheet down and gluing it in half.

To complete the zoo photos I used another page of the chipboard book and used a brochure from the zoo as a pocket and then put a copy of the map into it and two tags that I used the distressed inks on them and put the last remaining pictures onto them. I also had some little trinkets so I used them as decorations on the tags.

I distressed the brochure that is the pocket with a pair of scissors to make it fit into the book better.
