Alrighty, so I finished the cover page for the project. What I did was took a map of the Kansas City area that I got while I was out there. The first thing I did was cut the map down to the size I needed to fit the chipboard. Next I wrinkled the map, if I had an iron, i would have ironed it flat but since I didn't I just did the best I could with my hands. From here I used some of my new blending techniques! I used a Distress Ink called Antique photo and applied it to the whole map using a blending tool. From there I used some of the black distress Ink and applied it around the edge of the map. When that was done adhered the map to the chipboard page. Using my circuit machine I cut out the words "Kansas City, MO" using the machine and applied it to the page. If I could re-do this I would probably make my letters bigger, but over all it works.
As you will be able to tell from this project, I have a thing for the "grunge" look and it will be carried throughout the project, to maintain consistency.
